League rules

Game informATION

The league will follow FIFA soccer rules and the following league rules:
FIFA rule book

1. Game time is forfeit time.
2. Time: Two 35 minute halves, with a halftime of 5 minutes. 
3. Minimum 7 players on the field.
4. Non-roster players playing with a team is an automatic forfeit.
5. No player will play unless they are wearing the proper equipment and are registered with the league.
6. Roster additions must be approved by league coordinator.
7.The basic compulsory equipment of a player comprises the following separate
items:
• a jersey or shirt with sleeves
• stockings
• shinguards
• footwear
8. The two teams must wear colors that distinguish them from each other and also the referee and the assistant referees.
9. Goalkeepers: Each goalkeeper must wear colors that distinguish him from the other
players, the referee and the assistant referees.
10. Uniform: Players must wear their supplied jerseys. Goalkeeper must wear their own keeper jersey or tshirt.
11. Any player entering the field of play without the referees permission will be cautioned.  This includes players crossing the field and also applies to games other than their own.  If a player from a different team enters the field, they will will be cautioned at the beginning of their next game.
12. A sentoff player must leave the field immediately.  A sentoff player must also leave the park if ordered by the referee.
13. A player may be suspended If a player is sentoff for more than two games in a season.
14. A player may be suspended if he endangers or is unsportsmanshiplike towards, players, coaches, referees or spectators.

Additional rules for the summer league:

Roster:
1. Roster with players full name for the Tuesday game is due Monday.
2. Roster changes end 10 minutes before kickoff on Thursday, July 15. The
roster will be locked for the rest of the season. No changes may take
place after the roster deadline.
3. Max 15 players on roster.
4. No player may play on more than one team.
5. Non-roster players will result in a forfeit.

Equipment:
1. All players, except for the goal keeper, must wear league issued jerseys.
No exceptions.
2. Players must wear their registered number. No switching or sharing is allowed.

Game times:
1. Game time is forfeit time.
2. Minimum 6 players (5 + goal keeper) must be on the field at kickoff.
3. Forfeits are recorded as a loss. If both teams forfeit the game will be recorded as 0-0 draw.

Playoffs:
1. Playoffs will take place the 7th and 8th game.
2. Seeding will be determined by the record from games 2-6.
3. The following tie breaking procedures will be used to determine league or bracket winners for play-off seeding:
a. Team Record
b. Head-to-head record
c. Goal Differential
d. Goals Against
e. Goals For
